This is the 2017-18 course website for the UCL MSc Digital Anthropology practical. This year's topic for the practical was Markets.
The Assessment
Students were set the task of conducting a mini-ethnographic study building on a series of methods workshop that they attended this year. They were encouraged to use new and existing methods in digital anthropology to explore specific experiences Markets. For their course assessment each student produced a public facing website to present the findings of their mini project.
The projects foster reflexive and creative experimentation with anthropological modes of inquiry, analysis, and representation
The result is a collection of rich ethnographic and highly creative snapshots into different dimensions of Digital Markets.
